Our Story
A greenhouse rewired for great games
Two blocks off Chapel Street, Inferno Artifact Works occupies a 1908 conservatory that spent decades growing orchids before we moved the ferns aside for fibre and framerates. The original cast-iron ribs and fogged glass panes still diffuse the afternoon light across every screen.
We keep it small on purpose — 32 seats, one VR wing, and a botanical café bar. Whether you are grinding ranked, hosting a birthday LAN, or trying VR for the first time, our floor crew tune every rig and pour a decent flat white while you queue.

Questions before you queue
Everything you need to know before your first session at the glasshouse.
Walk-ins are always welcome and we hold a block of stations for them nightly. That said, Friday and Saturday evenings fill fast, and the VR wing and esports booth almost always sell out — for those we strongly recommend booking online or calling us at least a day ahead.
Standard RTX battlestations start at A$12 per hour, with a discounted three-hour block at A$30. VR sessions are A$35 for 45 minutes including a staff guide. The private esports booth is A$90 for two hours and seats up to five players.
Absolutely. We host LAN birthday parties for ages 10 and up, with a supervised area and a games list filtered to age-appropriate titles. Party packages include reserved stations, unlimited retro-cabinet play, and a toastie-and-soda round from the fern bar.
We are at 57 Greville Street, Prahran, a two-minute walk from the Prahran tram stops on Chapel Street. Metered street parking runs along Greville and Grattan Streets, and the Cato Street car park is a short stroll away for longer sessions.
You are welcome to bring your own mouse, keyboard, and headset — every station has front-facing USB and a 3.5mm jack. Our rigs run standard Windows profiles, so you can log into your own launchers and cloud saves, then sign out securely when you leave.
